It’s a week before our Christmas show. We went to Nagano City Arts Center on Thursday for our dress rehearsal together with Rainbow and Aurora. We hope to have an amazing performance next week for you, our Daddies and Mommies. For the mean time, take a peak of our rehearsal.
とうとうクリスマスショーまで残すところ１週間になりました🎄 今週木曜日にRainbowさん、Auroraさんと一緒に長野市芸術館へリハーサルに向かいました。お父さん、お母さんへ素敵なパフォーマンスをお届け出来たら嬉しいです😉 少しだけ、練習の様子をお届けしますね😁
UOI- Summative Assessment Week
We thought of our own story and wrote it. We were so excited when it was announced last Monday that we could write our own story. It could be a fairy tale, adventure, or fable. It could be based on our imagination or from our real experiences. In writing our own story, we considered the 5 W’s- Who are the characters? Where does the story happen? When does it happen? What happens in the story? Why does it happen?
UOIのレッスンでは、総括的評価としてオリジナルの物語を書きました。先週月曜日にこのアクティビティーの事を先生から聞いた時から、ずっと楽しみにしていたので、とてもワクワクしながらオリジナルの物語を書くことができました📚 オリジナルの物語はおとぎ話、冒険物、寓話のどれかで、それは想像のお話か、実話かを選びました。そして、その物語は５W（登場人物はだれか、物語の場所、いつの出来事、何のお話、そして、どうしてそれが起こってるか）を含みます。
We presented our story in front of our classmates on Friday. It was fun seeing and hearing the stories our friends wrote! We could probably display our stories in the library for our friends to read.
金曜日にその出来上がった物語をみんなの前で発表しました。お友達のストーリーを楽しく聞きました。そして今後、スクールの図書館の新しい本として並ぶことでしょう🤩📖
Teacher’s Note: I was impressed how well the kids wrote and drew their own story. The 5 W’s were complete and the sequence of events was systematically arranged. Most if them wrote fairy tale and adventure types of stories. They remembered almost everything that we talked about in this unit. Storytelling through writing or drawing is one way of expressing themselves. Through this, they can share their feelings, experiences, or their identity like their interests.

Christmas is coming soon and to show our love to our family and/or friends, we made a Christmas card for them. Thank you Mommies and Daddies for writing the addresses where we want to send our cards to on our envelopes. We hope our loved ones like the cards we made for them.

This week’s lesson was about perfection. We tried our best to practice more on the routines that we’ve been practicing for a while now.

Phonics
Last Tuesday we had a fun activity where we had to arrange the pictures of the lyrics of the song Incy Wincy Spider. We worked together to arrange the pictures in correct order and finally sing the sing correctly. That was great!
火曜日に楽しいフォニックスのレッスンをしました📚 “Incy Wincy Spider”の曲とその歌詞に合わせた絵を順に並べていきました。 １人づつ順に前に出て来て正しい順に並べていきました。最初は、なかなかうまくいきませんでしたが、繰り返し歌っていくうちに歌詞を理解し、正しく絵を並べる事が出来るようになりました。笑いがある楽しいフォニックスのレッスンが出来ました🤣😁
