The light is getting brighter for shooting star class! We learned a lot this week; our schedule was jampacked with lots of fun activities both inside and outside the classroom. Tag along and see how marvelous a week we had!

Math: 🧮
- It has been a while since the last time we played with numbers. This week, we practiced addition, counting, and writing numbers 10 to 20. It was an exciting and engaging activity for everyone because we were able to correct writing numbers that are mirrored or in the wrong order in a fun way!
- 算数のレッスンをするのは久しぶりに感じます。今週SSさんがフォーカスしたのは足し算、数数え、１０から２０の数字の書き練習です。何名かの子ども達が数字を逆に書いてしまうことに気づき、数字を書く練習時間を設けました。このレッスンではみんな一生懸命考えてきちんと数字を正しく書くことができました。クラスには数字が書かれたポスターがたくさんあります。子ども達はそれを見て正しい数字を書く練習をしていました😉👏
Phonics: 🤗
- We helped Mable (our class mascot) fix the alphabet chart by pairing an object to that word’s initial sound and letter. After that, we rearranged them and reviewed all the vocabularies and their initial sounds.
フォニックスではSSさんのお友達、メイブルが登場！メイブルと一緒にアルファベットの発音と同じ発音で始まる物（絵）をマッチングしました！マッチングしたあと、クラスみんなでおさらいしました。

- The conclusion of our UNIT is around the corner and the whole class is busy preparing for their Role Play. Not just we’re getting our characters and our line ready, we are also practicing how to deliver a beautiful performance. We learned that when on stage, it is always important to have BIG V.A.S: “Big Voice – Big Action and Big Smile” to make our presentation beautiful. Each group is giving their best in preparing for their big day; Everyone wants to shine and be their family’s pride!
今週もこのUnitのリフレクションにとりかかりました。先週のブログでもお伝えしたように、サマティブアセスメントはRole Playをします。今週はペーパーバッグにグループできめた自分の配役の絵を描き、Family Role Playの練習をしました。まずはプレゼンするときのルールを学びました。大きな声、大きなアクション、素敵な笑顔のみっつのルールを守りながらプレゼンの練習をしました。きっとSSさんは素敵なプレゼンをしてくれると思います。とても楽しみにしています😉

- We went places as we practiced reading a new book for the class.

It was another fun week for Shooting star class, and like the sun in the summer, they are always up and shining brightly in the day!
フリータイムではみんなの大好きな粘土で遊びました！みんなとっても上手に粘土で色々な形を作ることができるようになりました👏
今まで粘土で練習してきたので、父の日のクラフトもとっても上手にできあがっています😉来週出来上がる予定ですので、お父さんはお楽しみに！
