Hello,

This was a fun week we had in class here in Rainforest class at International School of Nagano. We looked at family trees to learn more about ourselves and others. In class we presented our information to other students in class. We wrote information about ourselves and made a class family tree. We will continue our talk of family when we come back from break which will be fun. We worked more on working together and listening in class which has gotten better. In class we practiced origami and it led to the creation of a giant flying carp streamer, koinobori. This week we went to the gym here in Matsumoto and everyone had fun playing new games using inflatable balls. They also learned more about methods to read new words and names in class. In math we learned about counting numbers up to 1,000 by 100’s. We also practices reading numbers from 100 – 1,000 which went well as a final test for skip counting for this week. Please have a fun Golden week and I look forward to hearing about what you did over your break.

こんにちは、
インターナショナルオブ長野のレインフォレストクラスではとても楽しい一週間を過ごしました。
自分やクラスメイトのことをもっと良く知る為にファミリー・ツリーをつくりました。
連休明けには家族のことをもっと話す予定でいます。楽しみですね。
クラスでは、仲良く作業することと話をよく聞くことを主に頑張っていますが、毎週よくなってきています。
今週は折り紙を使って小さな鯉のぼりをつくり、そしてそれを二つの大きな鯉のぼりにしました。
松本市内にある体育館にいき、ジムのレッスンもしました。みんな楽しそうにボールを使った遊びをしていました。新しい単語の読み方なども習いました。算数では１００単位で１０００まで数えたり、１００から１０００までの数字の読み方を勉強しました。
ゴールデンウィークを思いっきり楽しんで、休み中に何をしたか聞くのを楽しみにしています。
