The weather has really served us well this week, so the Milky Way students had plenty of chance to play outside, the pinnacle of which was Thursday’s visit to the park. Everyone enjoyed collecting acorns and playing on the swings.
The children were very creative this week as well. Learning about art and theatre, everyone made their own sock puppets, as well as finishing the spiders and other Halloween decorations that were displayed on the Halloween party on Friday.
The party itself was a big success as well. Everyone got a chance to spend fun time with their friends, parents and teachers, play various games and enjoy their treat bags. Milky Way’s costumes were amazingly creative as well and we had Spider-man, Jasmine, a pirate, Winnie-the-pooh…
Even though the Halloween party was just completed, Milky Way students are getting busy preparing for the Christmas show already, picking out roles and practicing their lines for the musical „Hansel and Gretel“ they will perform.
In class, a big progress was made in Maths, where we learned about place value and fractions through various craft and colouring activities. Everyone loved the penguins and pizzas they made!
