Hello everyone!
We worked on teamwork during UOI, had fun at the park, and practiced our pianica in our music lesson.
UOI (Making friends)
Teamwork Challenge
Our exploration of teamwork continued this week with a special challenge. The kids were tasked with balancing a small plush toy on a paper plate using strings. This activity tested their coordination and fostered their ability to work together effectively.
The next part of the challenge was trying to pass the toy to another team also holding a plate. It was really challenging, but I was impressed by how the kids had to think of how their friends were moving to make sure they kept the plate balanced together. This was also a great example of showing how important communication is when working together.

During our dance lesson, we also looked at how essential teamwork is to accomplish something.
Park
Before going to the park this week, we made paper airplanes together. The kids chose their favorite colors to use for their airplanes. It was a bit difficult folding the paper, but everyone tried their best and was able to finish making their planes.
At the park, we had a lot of fun flying them around. Luckily for us, a strong gust of wind helped our planes soar through the sky!
