According to the Child Educational Center, mixing colors helps to develop critical thinking, promotes inquiry and investigation, expands vocabulary, and advances children’s cognitive growth in many ways. We can’t wait to see what other fun color mixtures their creative thinking will guide them to next.

In our UOI lesson, our little ones had a fun learning activity about mixing colors! Since we are creating and experimenting with different craft techniques in our first line of inquiry, we had a primary colors mixing activity. Our youngsters tried to mix colors together and guessed what color they could make by combining them. It was amazing because most of them guessed the right colors! Well done, Canyon! Everybody enjoyed this activity a lot!

COLOR MIXING ACTIVITY

As we continue our preparation for the Halloween event at school, our young ones made a spooky monster craft! They chose the colors they desired and folded the paper to blend the colors; then, they pasted the eyes and mouth of the monster. The results were incredible! What an art piece, Canyon!

HALLOWEEN PARTY

The long wait is over!
It was a spooktacular day, indeed! Everyone looked so cute in their BOO-tiful costumes! Our youngsters were so excited for this event. We had been talking about it for weeks. We are glad that everybody had so much fun playing games.
