Hello everyone!
We had another fun week in Aurora! We used our new pool outside for the first time this summer and continued to learn about how we grow in our UOI.
Pool
We had such a blast playing in the pool this week! Before going in, we always stretch and go over the rules. I was thrilled to see everyone following the rules and having fun together. We even had a fun challenge using the sprinkler. The kids formed a big circle around it, holding hands. Then the teacher counted down and turned on the sprinkler. Their challenge was to try and stay standing while the water splashed all around them!
We are growing
We are learning about growth in class for our UOI, and we want to teach the kids that growth can happen in many different ways. To help illustrate this, we read a book called “No More Diapers” and discussed how things we were once unable to do but can do now are also part of growth.
Letter of the week
In our class, we are currently working on learning the alphabet, and we have recently moved on to the letter K. One of our activities was completing a fun worksheet and coloring in a picture of a koala.
Thank you for reading, and see you again next week!
