Before we welcome the winter season, the Milky Way class together with the Shooting Star class bid farewell to the autumn season by playing with the fallen leaves at the park. There were so many leaves on the ground that each and everyone covered themselves with the leaves and threw the leaves on the air nonstop. They also watched how the leaves were blown by the wind and amazed with the effects it made.🍂🍁
We had our phonics lesson and learned the digraph /oe/ as in doe, foe, toe, tomatoes, potatoes, heroes, etc. After practice reading them, they worked as a team to complete the sentences written on the paper with the appropriate digraph word. Sentence completion activity helps children develop their critical thinking, language, reading, and writing skills. 📖
On Wednesday, we read the RAZ book “Bananas Sometimes”. This book showcases the imagination, as a child envisions everyday objects as made from bananas. Most of them shared what image they think of bananas and they were surprised when they found out that their ideas were in the book like “Bananas sometimes look like hands. Bananas sometimes look like boats.”🍌🍌🍌
On Thursday, we experienced watching a puppet show! All ISN students were so amazed with the show. You would hear them laughing out loud when the scene is funny. You would see their different facial expressions as the story goes. It was such a wonderful and fun experience for each and everyone.🧸
Thank you for reading our blog! Till next week! Enjoy your weekend!🤗
