“Off We Go! Aurora’s Adventure to the Park”- Aurora (July 22-26)

Hello, wonderful parents and friends,

During the outdoor play, our curious young learners have been busy exploring the yard- this time with a special interest in insects. With their eyes focused on the ground and hands gently turning over leaves, our curious Aurora kids were eager to discover the tiny creatures living around them. They found ants marching in a line, ladybugs resting and crawling on leaves, and spotted numerous snails. After playing in the yard, they had a refreshing stroll around the neighborhood this week. As we walked together, we noticed many beautiful flowers blooming along the way. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to slow down, observe nature, and talk about what they saw. Some shared their favorite color of flowers, and others pointed out the butterflies fluttering around. These small moments outdoors help the children connect with the world around them and appreciate its beauty.

外遊びの間、好奇心いっぱいのオーロラさんは園庭での探検に大忙しでした。地面に目を向け、手で葉っぱをそっとめくりながら、自分たちの周りに住む小さな生き物を発見しようと夢中になっていました。アリ🐜さんが列つくって行進しているのを見つけたり、てんとう虫🐞が葉っぱの上で休んだり這ったりしているのを見つけたり、たくさんのカタツムリ🐌を見つけました。また、近所をお散歩してリフレッシュ。みんなで歩いていると、道にたくさんのきれいな花が咲いているのに気がつきました。お散歩って、子どもたちにとってゆっくりと自然を観察し、目にしたものについてお話しする良い機会となりますね。好きなお花の色を教えてくれる子もいれば、ちょうちょ🦋が飛び回っているのを指さして目で追いかける子もいました。戸外で過ごすこうしたささやかなひとときは、子どもたちが周りの世界とつながり、その美しさに感謝する機会となりました😊

Para Balloon fun in the Gym!

Our young learners had an exciting and energetic time in the gym this week with the parachute. They worked together to lift, wave, and bounce the parachute into the air. Their faces lit up with joy as they ran underneath and watched it float like a giant Rainbow above them. It was a wonderful teamwork activity encouraging cooperation, listening, and movement while having so much fun.

ジムレッスンでは、パラシュートを使ってわくわく元気いっぱいな時間を過ごしました。みんなで協力してパラシュートを持ち上げたり、揺らしたり、バウンドしたりしました。パラシュートが頭の上で大きなレインボーのように浮かんでいるのを見て、みんなはキラキラの笑顔で喜んでいました！力を合わせること、先生のお話を聞くこと、しっかり動くことを促してくれるとても良い活動で、とっても楽しかったです！

Building Together, One Block at a Time!

Kids enjoyed a fun and meaningful teamwork activity this week-Building with blocks while taking turns, Working with the group, the children shared ideas and cooperated as they created a tower. They practiced waiting patiently for their turn, listening to each other’s suggestions, and encouraging their friends along the way. It was a great way to strengthen their social skills and communication.

こんなチームワークのアクティビティもやってみました。グループのお友達と一緒に、時間内にどれだけの高くブロックを積み上げられるか、というチャレンジです。自分の順番が来るのを我慢して待つこと、お友達の言葉に耳を傾けること、お互い励まし合うことを練習しました。社会的スキルとコミュニケーション力が少しずつ身についていきますね😊

Big and Small E matching Fun

Our young learners had a fun and educational time with a hands-on letter recognition activity. – Matching Big and small E using balls and cups. Each ball was labeled with either a capital E or a lowercase e, and the children had to find the matching cup to place in it. They were focused, excited, and very proud when they made a correct match. After the game, we counted the correct matching pairs, and the most correct pairs won. Great job, Aurora!

今週はアルファベット”E/e”に親しむゲームをしました。ボールとカップを使って、大文字と小文字のEのペアを作るゲームです。それぞれのボールには大文字のEか小文字のeのラベルが貼ってあり、子どもたちはそれに合うカップを探しました。集中して取り組んでいて、正しくペアを作れたときにはとても誇らしげなお顔でした😊頑張ったね、オーロラさん！

Our Park Trip!

We had our bus trip to the park. Everyone was so excited and got ready with their backpacks and pool bags. We were lucky to have good weather, so we could go on our first bus trip. Kids changed into swimwear bottoms and started playing with water. The laughter and excitement filled the air as they explored the sensation of water splashing all around. It was not only a fun physical activity but also a chance for them to connect with nature and with one another. It was a wonderful way to cool off, have fun, and express themselves freely. After a fun and refreshing time playing with water, we gathered together and spread out our leisure sheets, and sat down to enjoy our packed lunches made with love by their families. It was a calm and cozy moment, filled with laughter, gentle conversations, and lots of smiles. The children were excited to open their lunch boxes and proudly show their friends what they had inside. We are thankful for the beautiful weather, the joyful play, and the thoughtful meals from home that made the day extra special.

そして今週はみんなが待ちに待ったバストリップがありました🎶みんな大喜びでリュックとプールバッグを持って準備完了！心配していた天気にも恵まれ、オーロラさんになって初めてのバストリップへ行くことができました！公園に着くと、目の前の噴水を見て目がキラキラ✨早速水着に着替え、噴水へ！水が飛び交う中で味わう感覚を探りながら、キャーキャーと大興奮でした！水遊びは体を動かす楽しいアクティビティであると同時に、子どもたちが自然や子どもたち同士のつながりを深めるきっかけでもありました😊涼み、楽しみ、自由に自分を表現する最高の方法でした。水遊びで楽しくリフレッシュした後は、みんなで集まってレジャーシートを広げ、お家の方々の愛情いっぱいのお弁当を食べました。子どもたちはお弁当箱を開けて、お友だちと見せ合いっこを楽しんでいました。笑い声や楽しいおしゃべり、そしてたくさんの笑顔があふれる、穏やかで居心地の良いひとときでした。天候に恵まれ、楽しい時間を過ごせたことに大感謝です。お家の方々、たくさんのご準備をありがとうございました！！
