Hello Everyone!

The weather’s been crazy, one day it’s extremely hot or it’s raining. This extreme change of weather can make us get sick easily. Kindly take care and keep healthy. In school we try to be aware of this changes to keep the little ones from getting sick. We adjust our activities to help kids get more comfortable. 

ある日は猛暑、またある日は雨と、天候が目まぐるしく変化しています。このように天候の変化が激しいと体調を崩しやすくなります。体調を崩さないように気をつけてください。スクールでは、小さな子どもたちが体調を崩さないように、このような変化に気を配るようにしています。子どもたちが快適に過ごせるよう、活動を調整しています。

Monthly Theme – Sea Animals

It’s the last week for our sea animals theme. So we all got busy reviewing what we’ve learned this month. To end this months theme we did some craft, we chose some of our favorite sea animals and kids got busy in recreating our sea animal friends thru craft. We had loads of fun learning this months theme. Singing, dancing, learning by playing games and acting like sea animals was an amazing experience. Discovering our friends under the deep blue sea was such a delight. 

海の動物をテーマにしたプログラムも今週が最終週。そこで、今月学んだことの復習をしました。今月のテーマの最後には、工作をしました。大好きな海の動物をいくつか選び、子どもたちは工作を通して海の動物の友達を再現することに夢中になりました。今月のテーマを楽しく学ぶことができました。歌ったり、踊ったり、ゲームをして学んだり、海の動物になりきって行動したことは、素晴らしい経験でした。深い青い海の下にいる仲間を発見することは、とても楽しいことでした。

Gym Lesson

It was too hot outside so we had our gym lesson indoors. Kids got lots of active fun during our gym class. They balanced on colorful foam beams and they pretended that there were sharks so they tried their best not to fall on either sides. They jumped on some hoops . They also played with colorful cones and balanced them on their heads. Kids walked liked bears. They also ran to grab the gym teachers foam tail, everyone loves this part. And lastly we did our all time favorite catch a tail.

外はあまりに暑かったので、室内でジム・レッスンを行いました。ジム・クラスでは、子どもたちはアクティブに遊びました。カラフルな発泡スチロールの梁の上でバランスをとったり、サメになったつもりで左右に落ちないように頑張ったり。フープでジャンプしたり、カラフルなコーンで遊んだり。また、カラフルなコーンと一緒にバランスをとって遊びました。子どもたちはクマのように歩きました。ジムレッスンの先生のしっぽをつかまえに走ったりもしました。最後は、みんな大好きなしっぽ取りをしました。

Music Lesson 

In our music lesson kids had fun with passing balls and practicing saying ‘Dozo’ and ‘Arigatou’ with their friends. During the lesson kids also pretended to be robots. Our music teacher played a robotic sound using a corn shaped instrument to which everyone moved eagerly to the sound. Everyone was good at being robots. After playing robot kids played with the fruit shaped maracas. Everyone likes shaking the maracas as we moved around the room to an upbeat tune. Everyone enjoyed the music lesson. 

音楽のレッスンでは、子どもたちはボールを渡したり、友だちと一緒に「ドウゾ」「アリガトウ」と練習したりして楽しみました。レッスン中、子どもたちはロボットにもなりきりました。音楽の先生がとうもろこしの形をした楽器でロボットの音を鳴らすと、みんなその音に合わせて熱心に動きました。みんな上手にロボットになりきっていました。ロボットごっこの後は、フルーツ型のマラカスで遊びました。みんなマラカスを振るのが好きで、明るい曲に合わせて部屋中を動き回りました。みんなミュージックレッスンを楽しみました。
