This is the last week before our summer school begins, and also the end of our second unit. The students have been busy organizing their belongings and preparing both mentally and physically for the summer break and upcoming summer school. In between cleaning and organizing, we also made time for some fun and celebration!

今週は夏期スクールが始まる前の最後の週であり、第2ユニットの締めくくりの週でもあります。子どもたちは自分の持ち物を整理したり、夏休みと夏期スクールに向けて心と体の準備をしたりと、忙しく過ごしました。その合間には、楽しい時間やお祝いの時間も取り入れました！

Water Play

For our final P.E. lesson of the term, we celebrated with a fun water play session outside! The students had a blast cooling down with water guns, splashing each other (and their teachers!) with big smiles and laughter. Some of them chose a more relaxing approach. Splashing around in the preschool pool and enjoying the sunshine. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to the semester and welcome the summer.

今学期最後の体育の授業では、外で特別な水遊びを楽しみました！水鉄砲でお友だちや先生に水をかけたり、笑い声が絶えない楽しい時間となりました。中には、幼児用プールでのんびりと水をパシャパシャ楽しむ子もいました。暑い夏を迎えるのにぴったりのアクティビティでした！

Singing Performance

To wrap up our second unit, the students practiced singing “We Are the World.” After days of rehearsal, they performed it beautifully in front of the Grade 1 students during our morning assembly. It was a touching and inspiring moment, showing how much they’ve grown in confidence and unity as a group.

第2ユニットのまとめとして、子どもたちは「We Are the World」を練習し、朝のアセンブリーで1年生の前で発表しました。何日もかけて練習した成果が現れた、美しく感動的なパフォーマンスでした。クラスとしての絆や自信の成長を感じられる素敵な時間になりました。
