As a fun summer activity, we made sea creatures out of craft materials in this week!
The children were excited to see how their creations would turn out.
They thought about where to place the eyes on jellyfish and octopuses, drawing and attaching them by themselves.
Each piece turned out uniquely, full of personality.
Even noticed, “I need to draw a mouth too!” and added their own touches, showing creativity throughout the activity.

今週は夏ならではの活動として、海の生き物をクラフトで作りました！
どんな仕上がりになるのか、子どもたちはワクワクしながら取り組んでいました。
クラゲやタコの目も、「ここかな？」と自分で考えて貼ったり、目を描き加えたりして、それぞれとても個性豊かな作品が完成しました。「口も描かなくちゃ！」と気づいて工夫する姿も見られ、楽しみながらも意欲的に取り組んでいました。

They had lots of fun playing with water in many different ways outside!
The children weren’t bothered by the splashes at all and looked like they were really enjoying themselves.
We were also lucky to spot a large dragonfly (an oni-yanma) resting on the wall!
The Rainbow student was amazed by its big body and bright colors.
With curious eyes, she took a close look, saying things like, “Wow, that’s so cute!”

外ではさまざまな水遊びを楽しみました！水しぶきもへっちゃらで、とても気持ちよさそうな表情を見せてくれていました。
また、運よく壁にとまっていたオニヤンマを発見！その大きな体や鮮やかな色に、レインボーさんはびっくり。
「すごいね！」「かわいい！」と、興味津々でじっくり観察していました。

Here’s a look at lunchtime!
The children prepare their things by themselves, and they enjoy chatting with friends while eating. It makes the meal even more fun and delicious!
After eating, they also do a great job cleaning up on their own.

ランチの時間の様子です。
お支度も自分でがんばって、みんなで楽しくお話ししながら食べるごはんはとってもおいしいね！
食べ終わったあとのお片づけも、自分でしっかり取り組んでいます。
