Hello Everyone,
So happy to see Rainbow students come back to school in high spirits. It’s a wonderful thing seeing them grow healthy and strong each day.
This week, we continued our theme about Fruits. We carried out an activity which we called, Fruit Picking. The students enjoyed picking the fruit they like and confident to say the its name in front of the class. They then said, yum, yum, yum. We kept the said activity on the wall and students enjoyed matching the fruits by themselves. We also made fruit salad by adding different kinds of fruits and we said, mix, mix, mix together. Rainbow students loved engaging in our fun-learning activities. They can recognize and remember the name of the fruits.

We went to the gym to practice the race and the Matsuri game. Students tried to be communicators by listening to teachers while giving instructions to them. When their name was called, they responded, I’m here! Everyone enjoyed and seemed understanding how the running race and Omikoshi race is being played. On the sports day, we are looking forward that everyone can confidently do it with parents.

We celebrated the birthday of students born in August. The teachers entertained the whole ISN school community with an spectacular musical performance. Teachers played different kinds of instruments with the song Mickey March. Everyone had so much fun! Thank you, Ms. Kumi for hosting the birthday party.

We had the chance to play in the schoolyard. Students got fascinated with insects around the garden. They found ants, bees, butterflies, and jumping spider and it’s amazing to know that they could actually say their names.

This week was our second to the last week chance to play in the water. Students are always looking forward to play in the pool with their friends. Water play activity enhances our ability to share, communicate, cooperate, and take turns as we interact around a limited space. It gives us a shared experience as we learn to negotiate, work as a team, and observe each other.

Have a great weekend everyone!
