Ready, set, go! Waterfall students are ready for the upcoming Sport’s Day Festival with their fully decorated costumes, accessories and dance moves! Ten little caterpillars have been preparing a beautiful surprise!

In this unit students are learning that there are many different animals and that many of them help us. Students remembered that animals have families and that cows make milk for their babies, but people drink it too. So they looked at some animals and thought about more animals that help us, like bees, chickens or hens, sheep, pigs and horses. They sorted and matched some of the products like milk, honey, eggs, meat and wool to show their great thinking skills! Also, animals like horses help people move heavy objects!

People and animals help each other, of course that means it is the students’ turn to give back to show that they are caring and principled! Waterfall students chose the animals that they would like to have as a pet. Students will care for the animal planters and give them food, water and a sunny place so that they can grow!

Nature and animals continue to resonate with the students and inspire them to create their own learning journeys. They build zoos and love learning ABCs by using animal names! Thank you to students who continue to bring nature into the class for Show and Tell! Waterfall students got to see beautiful hand-made flower paper!
