“Where Does It Come From? Discovering Animals and Their Products”- Aurora(September 8-12)

Hello everyone!
We kicked off the week with a joyful celebration of this month’s birthday celebrants. All classes gathered in the music room, where the event began with a lively question-and-answer session about Autumn led by Mr. Igor. The children impressed us with their confidence and knowledge, eagerly answering each question. It was truly heartwarming to see their growth and enthusiasm shining through year after year.

In LOI 2 – “People and animals are connected and help each other” – our little inquirers enjoyed watching a video about animals and the wonderful products they provide us. Afterward, the children had fun working on a pasting and matching worksheet, which helped them connect their learning to everyday life.

The video featured some familiar animals:

  • Cows – giving us fresh milk
  • Sheep – providing wool for clothes
  • Hens – laying eggs and giving meat
  • Pigs – providing pork
  • Bees – making sweet honey

It was exciting to see the children recognize how these animals are part of their daily experiences and how people and animals help each other in many ways.

In celebration of the upcoming Grandparents’ Day, the children created a special craft for their beloved grandparents. We had a wonderful discussion about grandparents and all the loving things they do for their grandchildren. In return, the students wanted to show their appreciation by preparing a simple yet meaningful present.

Using a variety of colorful paints, the children made finger-painted flowers and added their own drawings of their grandparents’ faces. They were thrilled to prepare these heartfelt gifts and couldn’t wait to hand them over.

Happy Grandparents’ Day!

Letter H tracing activity

We reviewed the letter H and practiced words that begin with it. Afterward, the children worked on a capital H tracing activity. While some students are still developing their pencil grip, they did a wonderful job tracing the letter and showed great effort in their work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to join us for the Sports Festival! The students were absolutely delighted to have their parents present on this special day. They felt so proud as they showed their best in the races and danced beautifully in front of everyone. We are truly grateful that you came to celebrate with us and witness your children’s growth and achievements.

Thank you for reading our blog! We wish you a wonderful long holiday, and we look forward to seeing you next week!
