✨ What an Eventful Week! ✨
We bounced back into school after the long weekend full of energy and smiles 😄. On Tuesday morning we jumped straight into dance practice 💃🕺, getting ready for our big Sports Festival on Friday! All week long we practiced our relay races 🏃♂️🏃♀️ and obstacle courses 🧗♂️, laughing and cheering each other on. We also made bright yellow pompoms 💛 to match our class color and decorated our Shooting Stars signboard 🌟 with our mascot, Chase, right in the middle!
On Wednesday it was time to get creative 🛠️🐛 — we built our very own bug hotels! Using pinecones 🌲, sticks, bark, hay, moss, grass, and more, the children designed cozy little hideouts for bugs to snuggle into. The results were amazing 🤩 and we can’t wait to see if any special bug guests move in once the hotels go home!
Finally, the big day arrived — Sports Festival Friday! 🎉 We headed to the Nakano campus, buzzing with excitement. With all the enthusiasm and running around befor the start, some of us teachers wondered if the kids might run out of steam before the races, but nope — they had endless energy ⚡! The cheers 📣 and dances 💛 were fantastic, and the races were full of both athletic skills and lots of giggles 😂. Parents and kids alike joined in the fun, making it such a joyful day for everyone.
A huge thank you to Ms. Tomomi 🙌 for her amazing organisation — everything ran so smoothly thanks to her hard work.
🌟 Great job, Shooting Stars! You really shone this week. Let’s keep the energy going into next week! 🚀
