Hello Everyone!
This week was a short but busy one, packed with active play, interactive musical experience and fun learning of our monthly theme -shapes.
Gym Lesson – During gym lesson kids got active playing outdoors. From crawling, jumping, running, balancing and more. This activities help their bodies grow healthier and stronger.

Music Lesson – Our music lesson was very engaging and interactive. Kids got to play with the hula hoop and pretended it was a vehicle, Everyone had to move according to the music being played, it went either fast or slow, and sometimes we had to stop because our vehicles got broken so we had to fix it by tapping it on the floor. After that we got to play with a musical instrument, the bell, we learned how to properly hold it and how to play with it. Our music teacher played the piano in the background while we played the bell. Kids were able to follow the rhythm and it sounded really nice.

Monthly Theme – Shapes
This week we continue to learn more about shapes. We had some interesting activities that helped the kids explore and have fun with our theme. In class, everyone helped in sorting out everyday things according to its shape. Outside, we played I spy and tried to look for the different shapes around us. Whether indoors or outdoors, we see shapes in everything and it’s everywhere. One more week of our shapes theme, we have lots of fun activities coming soon.

Our Friend – Nobi kun
Some update on our friend Nobi kun our class plant. Just like the kids…It is growing healthy, strong and lush. Here’s a before and after photo. Everyone helps out in taking care of Nobi kun.

Outside Free Play / Park
In Rainbow, we firmly believe that being outdoors and being active helps with the kids well being. Kids grow even more healthy, strong and smart when they get to play outdoors surrounded by nature. That is why we always make sure kids get their daily dose of Outside Free play. We all like walking around the neighborhood and the nearby park, this way kids get to have some mini adventure. Going outside we get to practice awareness and safety wherever we go.
