🎃 Hello Everyone!
What a fun Halloween party we had! Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes — seeing all those cute, creative outfits is always my favourite part of Halloween. We played so many games, and everyone’s treat bags were filled to the top! 🎃🍬

🎄 Looking Ahead to Christmas
Our next big celebration will be Christmas! We’ve now started working on Scene 3 of our play. In this scene, the children bravely fight a demon using symbols from different celebrations that help keep away evil — things like light and noise!
I’ll be sending home the script for Scene 3 soon so you can practice together at home.
🕺🎵 Specialist Classes
This week we had dance, music, and swimming, so it’s been a very active few days! Building our strength and gross motor skills is especially important as we move into winter — and for those of us who will be enjoying winter sports soon.
In music, we’re preparing for the Christmas performance, so please remember to practice the pianica at home!
🪔 Learning About Diwali
On Friday, we learned about Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights. We used our cutting skills to make colorful rangoli decorations and talked about how light and color play an important role in Indian celebrations. ✂️🌈

🚦 Personal Space & Boundaries
We’ve also been talking about personal space and boundaries — an important topic as we grow bigger and stronger. We’re learning how to be aware of our bodies, how we play with each other, and how we touch others respectfully.
