Hello everyone!

This week in our Unit of Inquiry (UOI), we had a special Show-and-Tell focused on our favorite books from home. Each of us brought a book that was meaningful to them and proudly shared it with the class. During our presentations, we talked about why we chose that book, how it makes us feel when we read it, and which parts make us happy, sad, excited, or even a little scared. We learned that our feelings change in many situations and for various reasons. In the next lessons, we will discuss how we can manage our emotions, especially when they are stronger.

It was wonderful to see how eager we were to tell our stories; some of us even shared how often we read our book and who we read it with at home. We also noticed significant growth in confidence; we have already overcome our fear of speaking in front of the class, and we truly enjoy presenting!

Swimming Lesson

This week’s swimming lesson was filled with splashes, smiles, and growing confidence! From the moment we stepped into the pool, we were eager to try different swimming styles and curious about what fun activity would come next. Our confidence in the water continues to shine!

We practiced swimming through hoops, which was an exciting challenge, especially for those still getting used to keeping their heads underwater. We also worked on balancing a toy duck on our heads as we walked across the pool—a fun way to strengthen focus and body control. Another highlight was practicing proper kicking from one platform to the next, which helped us build stronger and more coordinated movements.

We were so proud to see how determined we were. Even when the excitement of the moment made it hard to stay focused, we showed wonderful self-control and commitment to improving our swimming and balance skills.

We repeated the same swimming styles from last week—our class favorites—and enjoyed practicing them even more this time. Our ongoing goal is to become more confident in the water and stay underwater a little longer each week.

Our little swimmers are truly making a bubbly splash!

Christmas Show Practice

This week, we continued rehearsing for our Christmas Show, and the excitement is growing! While many of us are still memorizing our lines, we are working hard and showing great determination during practice. We can already see their confidence building, and we’re hopeful that by next week, everyone will be ready to deliver their lines with pride and sparkle! ☺️
