Hello dear parents and friends,
This week, our class was filled with excitement and creativity as we spent most of our days practicing for our upcoming Christmas show! The children worked very hard as they prepared for the stage play. Our Aurora students did their best memorizing their lines and expressing their emotions in ways that truly brought their characters to life.
今週のオーロラさんたちは、クリスマスショーに向けてたくさん練習をし、ワクワクとドキドキに満ちあふれていました！子どもたちは劇の練習に一生懸命取り組み、はりきってセリフを覚え、自分達の役に命を吹き込むような感情表現で、それぞれのキャラクターを生き生きと演じました。
When each act group practiced lines and danced in front of everyone, one child said, “Wow, I was so nervous. I was shy!”. I felt it was wonderful that she could experience such a heart-pounding moment and honestly express how she felt. It has been such a joy to see their confidence grow each day. We are all eagerly looking forward to the big event of the year, and we can’t wait to share this special performance with you!
役ごとにみんなの前でセリフを言ったりダンスを踊る練習をした時、ある子が「あぁ緊張した！ちょっとはずかしかった！」と言いました。胸がどきどきする経験をしたこと、それを素直に言葉にできることがとても素敵だなぁと感じました😊毎日少しずつ自信がついていく姿が見られ、本当に嬉しいです。みんなこの一大イベントをとっても楽しみにしています。この特別な舞台を皆様と共有できる日を楽しみにしています！
They also spent time practicing music performance. For each instrument, they practiced repeatedly until they could memorize the rhythms and patterns.
ミュージックパフォーマンスの練習も頑張りました！楽器ごとに、リズムやパターンを覚えるまで何度も練習をしました。
At UOI, we looked at photos expressing different emotions and asked kids to share: “How did you feel?” and “When did you feel that way?” We saw a wide range of emotions and had a really fun learning experience. Thank you for sharing your photos!
UOIでは、みんなの感情を表している写真を見て、どんな気持ちだった？どんな時にそうなった？を発表してもらいました。色々な感情を見ることができ、とても楽しく学ぶことができました。写真のご協力、ありがとうございました！
Despite our busy lives, we made time to play outside and get moving. It was heartwarming to see them naturally incorporate lines from plays into their play, like “Where are you going?” and “We want to eat the grass.” 😊
忙しい生活の中ですが、時間を作っては外で遊び、体を動かしました。遊びの中でも、「Where are you going?」「We want to eat the grass.」と、自然と劇のセリフにつながる姿はとても微笑ましいです😊
