A December to Remember -Waterfall-12.15-19

Waterfall started the week with the Winter Show just on the horizon! A little preparation early in the week set the stage for a busy but successful production week! Everyone tested their nerves and practiced their roles in rehearsal,  and presented some odds and ends for Show and Tell. Then, we read one shared book, “What is the Moon?”  before a restful and relaxing sleep before the big day!

Waterfall students brimmed with excitement backstage, ready to bring the same robust energy with them on stage to sing, dance, and play instruments to some very merry songs.

The big moment came and went so quickly! Shimauchi Campus students presented an inspiring lineup of performances to celebrate many forms of expression in a magical Winter Show. Waterfall students may be the smallest of the bunch, but they filled big shoes on the 17th with a joy-filled show of bravery and determination in their performance of The Enormous Turnip.

Finally, students were rewarded for their good, hard work and caring spirits with gifts and a visit from Santa himself!

After months of dedication and work it is time for some fun and more inquiry into the outside world. Waterfall and Canyon made a brisk trip to Lavender Park! The lined up for the difficult task of digging in the sand. Some students ran freely in the park seeking out new objects to fill their collection boxes, while others just hung around.

Thank you, students and parents, for all of your efforts and positivity. We wish you family fun, rest and rejuvenation, and Happy Holidays! See you in 2026! Have a Happy New Year!
