This week was filled with meaningful experiences, joyful celebrations, and wonderful progress for our Shooting Star class. One of the most special moments was celebrating our Milky Way (MW) friends during their farewell. The children sang “Tomorrow” with enthusiasm, gave thoughtful presents, and warmly sent them off through a cheerful tunnel. It was a touching experience that helped the children begin to imagine themselves as future graduates.
今週は、シューティングスタークラスにとって、意義深い経験や楽しいお祝い、そして素晴らしい成長に満ちた一週間でした。中でも特に心に残ったのは、ミルキーウェイ（MW）のお友だちをフェアウェル（お別れ会）でお祝いしたことです。子どもたちは「Tomorrow」を元気いっぱいに歌い、心のこもったプレゼントを渡し、明るいトンネルを作って温かく送り出しました。この感動的な経験を通して、子どもたちは来年の卒園児としての自分たちの姿を少しずつ思い描くことができました。
We also enjoyed time outdoors, including a short walk to a nearby park and a relaxing nature walk in search of signs of spring. The children were excited to discover tiny flowers starting to bloom, reminding us that a new season is just around the corner. These outdoor activities also helped us continue building stamina as we prepare for longer walks in the future.
また、近くの公園への短いお散歩や、春の訪れを探すのんびりとした自然散策など、戸外での時間も楽しみました。子どもたちは、小さな花が咲き始めているのを見つけて大喜びし、新しい季節がすぐそこまで来ていることを感じることができました。これらの戸外活動は、今後より長い距離を歩けるようになるための体力づくりにもつながっています。
In the classroom, the children showed great improvement in their writing skills. They are becoming more confident in identifying and forming small, tall, and fall letters, and it has been wonderful to see their growing independence and focus during activities.
クラスでは、子どもたちの書く力が大きく向上している様子が見られました。スモールレター、トールレター、フォールレターの見分けや書き方にも自信がついてきており、活動中の自立心や集中力が高まっている姿を見るのはとても嬉しいことです。
A big highlight of the week was our much-awaited Pancake Party! The children had a fantastic time taking part in the process—adding and mixing ingredients step by step. They were especially happy to share this experience with their MW friends, inviting them to sit together and enjoy snacks. The children were very proud of the pancakes they made and happily enjoyed seconds and even thirds!
今週の大きなハイライトは、みんなが楽しみにしていたパンケーキパーティーでした！子どもたちは、材料を順番に加えたり混ぜたりしながら、その工程に楽しく参加しました。特にミルキーウェイ（MW）のお友だちと一緒にこの体験を共有できたことをとても喜び、隣に座るよう誘って一緒におやつの時間を楽しみました。自分たちで作ったパンケーキにとても誇りを持ち、おかわりや三回目を楽しむ子もいるほどでした！
We also had the opportunity to attend the Milky Way graduation ceremony. The children watched with interest and sang “You’ll Be in My Heart” sincerely, making the experience even more meaningful. It gave them a better understanding of what graduation looks like and something to look forward to in the future.
また、ミルキーウェイの卒園式に参加する機会もありました。子どもたちは興味深く様子を見守り、「You’ll Be in My Heart」を心を込めて歌い、この経験をより意義深いものにしました。卒園とはどのようなものかをよりよく理解し、将来への楽しみも膨らんだようです。
As we close this chapter, we also shared heartfelt goodbyes with a dear friend who will be moving away. Through a special activity, each child expressed kind and thoughtful messages, showing the strong friendships they have built. We ended the week by celebrating each child’s journey with completion certificates and a goodbye song.
そして、この節目の時期に、お引っ越しで離れる大切なお友だちとの心温まるお別れもありました。ボールをパスするゲームを通して、一人ひとりが優しく思いやりのあるメッセージを伝え、築いてきた強い友情が感じられました。週の終わりには、修了証書の授与とお別れの歌で、それぞれの成長の歩みをお祝いしました。
