This week, we had two exciting trips. One of them was a field trip to the meteorological observatory, which was closely connected to our unit on seasons and weather. During the trip, we learned that there are many ways to predict and understand the weather in advance. We also discovered why it is important to know about the weather so that we can prepare ourselves and help keep our community safe. Our guides were very professional and patiently explained everything to the students. Thank you for all your hard work!

今週は、2つの楽しい校外学習がありました。

1つ目は、季節と天気のユニットに関連した気象観測所への見学です。この見学を通して、天気を事前に予測したり知ったりする方法があることを学びました。また、天気について知ることは、自分たちが事前に準備をしたり、地域の人々が安全に過ごせるよう助けたりするために大切であることも学びました。案内してくださったスタッフの皆さんはとてもプロフェッショナルで、子どもたちにも分かりやすく丁寧に説明してくださいました。本当にありがとうございました。

The other trip was a bus trip to the Joetsu Aquarium, where we traveled across the prefecture to Niigata. During this trip, we had the opportunity to explore behind the scenes of the aquarium and learn how it is operated and maintained. The staff gave us detailed explanations about feeding the sea animals and how they take care of them every day. We had a wonderful time discovering and observing many different sea creatures. We also enjoyed the dolphin show and shopping for souvenirs. It was a meaningful, fun, and exciting trip for everyone!

もう1つは、上越水族館へのバス旅行でした。私たちは県を越えて新潟まで行きました。この旅行では、水族館の裏側を見学し、水族館がどのように運営されているのかを知ることができました。スタッフの皆さんは、海の生き物への餌やりや日々のお世話について詳しく説明してくださいました。さまざまな海の生き物を観察しながら楽しい時間を過ごし、イルカショーやお土産の買い物も楽しみました。とても有意義で、わくわくする素敵な旅行となりました。
