Welcome to our blog for this week!
During our gym lesson, the students enthusiastically participated in racing and bending activities that helped develop their strength, coordination, and flexibility. They followed instructions carefully and showed determination as they completed each challenge. The class also began practicing for their upcoming Sports Festival performance, where the students worked together, learned new movements, and built confidence as a team. It was wonderful to see their excitement and active participation throughout the lesson.
こんにちは！今週のクラスの様子をお届けします♪
ジムレッスンでは、「On your mark, get set, (whistle)」の合図に合わせて走ったり、体を使って色々なポーズをとったりと、たくさん挑戦しました！子どもたちは先生のお手本をよく見ながら、一つひとつの動きを楽しみ、元気いっぱい体を動かしていました😊
また、スポーツフェスティバルに向けた練習もスタートしました！新しい動きを覚えたり、お友だちと息を合わせたりしながら、みんなで楽しく取り組んでいます。
少しずつ練習を重ねる中で、自信を持ってチャレンジする姿や、お友だちと協力する姿もたくさん見られるようになってきました✨
本番に向けて、これからの成長がますます楽しみです！🌟
We had a joyful birthday celebration, and the students thoroughly enjoyed spending time together during the party. They happily participated in the activities, shared smiles and laughter with their friends, and made the celebration a special occasion for everyone. After the party, the students also practiced for the upcoming school activity, Matsumoto Bonbon, showing enthusiasm and cooperation as they learned and rehearsed the dance movements together.
7月生まれのお友達のお誕生日会をみんなで楽しみました🎉みんなでお祝いをして、笑顔あふれる素敵なお誕生日会となりました。もうすぐやってくる行事、まつもとぼんぼんに向けた練習も行いました♪
音楽に合わせて踊りを覚え、お友だちと息を合わせながら楽しく練習する姿が見られました。最初は少し難しかった動きも、繰り返し練習する中で少しずつ自信をつけています✨
本番でも、元気いっぱい踊る子どもたちの姿が楽しみです！🌟
In our Unit of Inquiry, the students drew their favorite small creature and shared why they liked it. They talked about what made the creature special to them and expressed their ideas with confidence and enthusiasm. This activity encouraged creativity, communication, and personal reflection while helping the students make meaningful connections with the small creatures they have been learning about.
UOIでは、自分の好きな小さな生き物について考えました🐞🦋🐌子どもたちは、お気に入りの小さな生き物の絵を描き、「どうしてその生き物が好きなのか」をクラスのみんなに発表しました😊
「かっこいいから！」「よく見つけるから！」「動きがおもしろい！」など、一人ひとりが自分なりの理由を考え、自信を持って伝える姿が見られました。この活動を通して、自分の考えを表現する力や、お友だちの話を聞いて新しい発見をする力が育まれました。また、小さな生き物への興味や親しみもさらに深まり、これからの探究につながる素敵な時間となりました✨🐛🌿
During our outside pool earthquake drill, the students practiced the safety procedures calmly and responsibly while following the teachers’ instructions carefully. They learned what to do during an emergency while in the pool area and demonstrated good listening skills and cooperation throughout the drill. This important activity helped the children become more familiar with emergency procedures, build confidence, and understand the importance of staying safe in different situations.
そして今週は、プール遊び中の地震避難訓練を行いました。
子どもたちは先生のお話をよく聞き、落ち着いて安全に避難する練習に取り組むことができました😊
「プールに入っているときに地震が起きたらどうするのかな？」をみんなで確認し、一つひとつの動きを真剣に練習しました。最後まで先生の指示をよく聞き、お友だちと協力しながら行動する姿が見られました。
さまざまな場面で自分の身を守る方法を知ることで、防災への意識を高める良い機会となりました。これからも、いざという時に落ち着いて行動できるよう、安全について学んでいきたいと思います✨
