This week, we conducted an earthquake drill during nap time. Most of the students were still sleeping when the earthquake sound played, but they quickly woke up and responded to the situation. They covered their heads with their beds, put on their caps and shoes, and safely evacuated the classroom.
It was wonderful to see the children remain calm and follow the safety procedures even though they had been sleeping. This drill gave them a valuable opportunity to practice what to do in the event of an earthquake and reminded us all of the importance of being prepared at any time.
今週は、お昼寝中に地震が起こったことを想定して避難訓練を行いました。
地震アラームの音が鳴ったとき、まだお昼寝中の子どもたちがほとんどでしたが、すぐに目を覚まし、先生の指示を聞きながら落ち着いて行動することができました😊布団で頭を守り、帽子と靴をすぐに身につけ、安全に教室から避難しました。
寝ているところからの突然の訓練でしたが、慌てることなく、しっかりと安全な行動をとる子どもたちの姿がとても頼もしかったです✨「いつ起こるかわからない」地震に備えて、どんな状況でも自分の身を守れるよう、これからもさまざまな場面で避難訓練を行っていきたいと思います🌱
During our Show and Tell, the students had an exciting opportunity to share some small creatures they brought from home. We were lucky to meet a variety of fascinating creatures, including rhinoceros beetles, a butterfly, a grasshopper, and even a Hercules beetle—one of the longest beetles in the world! The children were curious and excited as they observed the creatures closely, shared what they knew, and listened to their friends. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that encouraged the children to learn more about the small creatures around us and appreciate the amazing creatures that live in our environment.
今週のShow and Tellでは、お家から持ってきてくれた小さな生き物をみんなに紹介してもらいました🐞🦋今回は、カブトムシやチョウ、バッタ、そして世界でも大きな種類のカブトムシの一つであるヘラクレスオオカブトなど、さまざまな生き物に出会うことができました！
子どもたちは興味津々で生き物をじっくり観察し、「ここが動いてる！」「大きいね！」など、気付いたことや知っていることをお友だちと共有していました😊実際の生き物を見たり、触れたり、観察したりすることで、「もっと知りたい！」という気持ちがさらに広がったようです✨
身近な自然の中には、まだまだ知らない不思議や面白い生き物がたくさんいます。これからも子どもたちの「どうして？」「なんだろう？」を大切にしながら、小さな生き物への興味を深めていきたいと思います🌿🐛💕
As we prepare for our upcoming Sports Festival, the children enjoyed creating their very own colorful aliens! They began by drawing their desired alien body shapes and decorating them with colorful cellophane paper. They then designed their aliens’ facial features, carefully drew and cut them out, and added them to their creations. Each alien turned out unique and full of personality, reflecting the children’s creativity and imagination. It was a fun hands-on activity that allowed the children to explore colors, shapes, and different ways of expressing their ideas.
スポーツフェスティバルに向けて、カラフルな宇宙人作りを楽しみました👽🌈
まずは、「どんな宇宙人にしようかな？」と考えながら、好きな形の顔を描き、カラフルなセロハンを使って飾り付けました。その後は、目や口などの顔のパーツも自分たちでデザイン！描いて、切って、貼り付けながら、それぞれ個性たっぷりの宇宙人が完成しました😊
「目を3つにしよう！」「こんな顔にしたよ！」と、一人ひとりが自由な発想で楽しみながら制作していました✨色や形を楽しみながら、自分のアイデアを自由に表現することができた、楽しい制作活動となりました♪ スポーツフェスティバルに向けて、気持ちもどんどん盛り上がっています！🚀👽⭐
