Thank you for all your applications. Details for Summer School 2027 are usually announced around February.
The latest Summer School news is shared first via ISN’s Official LINE.
Information that stays the same each year — campus features, the daily schedule and what to bring — is listed below.
Where the senses lead,
language follows.
The summer program at ISN Nagano Campus is for Pre-K and Kindergarten children and runs in an “inclusion style”: participants spend the day alongside children who attend ISN every day. It is not a week of studying English — it is a week of living in English.
Dance, crafts, water play and art. The Kindergarten class also includes a special program at our Nakano Campus, set among the Kitashingo Mountains. No English ability is required to join.
Three reasons to spend the summer here.
A Rich Variety of Hands-On Activities
Dance, crafts, water play and art. The program is built around activities that get hands and bodies moving rather than desk work, and includes field trips to experience Nagano’s nature and culture.
Inclusion Style, Alongside Current Students
Participants spend the day with current ISN students, who attend every day and have strong English. No English ability is required. Bilingual Japanese–English staff are always on site, so even first-time participants can join in.
A Special Program at Nakano Campus for the Kindergarten Class
The Kindergarten class travels to our Nakano Campus, surrounded by the majestic Kitashingo Mountains. Stepping away from a familiar setting changes how richly children spend their time in English.
