Aurora’s mornings are full of creativity! The children enjoy using clay during Morning Craft to express their ideas and show what they have learned. Some of our Growing Learners successfully used clay to spell “rabbit” and even added and described features such as ears, eyes, and a mouth.
Auroraの朝は、創造力いっぱいです！Morning Craftでは、子どもたちは粘土を使って、自分のアイデアや学んだことを表現しています。「成長する学び手」たちの中には、粘土で「rabbit」の文字を上手に作り、耳、目、口などの特徴も作って説明する子どもたちもいました。
October is also spooky month, so we have started making lots of Halloween crafts to decorate our classroom for the upcoming Halloween Party! The children are enjoying using their imagination and creativity as the classroom slowly becomes a little more spooky.
10月はちょっぴりこわくて楽しいHalloweenの季節です。これから行うHalloween Partyに向けて、教室を飾るためのHalloween Craftをたくさん作り始めました！子どもたちは想像力を使いながら、少しずつHalloweenらしくなっていく教室を楽しんでいます。
Aurora is always full of movement, and this week we brought movement into our learning too! During phonics practice, the children crawled, hopped, moved backwards to find and touch alphabet cards that matched the sounds they heard. Our Challengers were excited to move in a fun, active way.
Auroraはいつも元気いっぱいに体を動かしています。今週は、学びの中にもたくさんの動きを取り入れました！Phonicsの練習では、聞こえた音に合うアルファベットカードを探して、ハイハイしたり、ジャンプしたり、後ろ向きに進んだりしてカードにタッチしました。「チャレンジャー」たちは、楽しく元気に体を動かしながら学びました。
The children also enjoyed lots of movement during Music and Gym. During Gym, the children showed off their speed and jumping skills. With Sports Festival behind us, our regular Gym lessons are now held in the gymnasium, giving the children plenty of space to run, jump, and challenge themselves.
MusicとGymでも、子どもたちはたくさん体を動かしました。Gymでは、速く走ったり、ジャンプしたりして、自分たちの力を元気いっぱい見せてくれました。Sports Festivalが終わり、これからのGym Lessonは体育館で行います。広い場所で走ったり、ジャンプしたり、いろいろなことに挑戦できます。
In Ms. Satomi’s Music Inquiry, they became little ghosts for Spooky October and explored different sounds and rhythms using small tambourines. They listened carefully and expressed themselves through music and movement.
Satomi先生のMusic Inquiryでは、Spooky Octoberに合わせて小さなゴーストになりました。小さなタンバリンを使いながら、いろいろな音やリズムを楽しみました。音をよく聞き、音楽と体の動きで自分らしく表現しました。
The weather was beautiful this week, so we also had plenty of opportunities to explore and play outside. The children enjoyed moving and playing with friends while discovering things around the playground and school yard.
今週はとても良い天気だったので、外で遊んだり探検したりする時間もたくさんありました。子どもたちは、園庭や学校のまわりでいろいろなものを見つけながら、友だちと一緒に元気に体を動かして遊びました。
