More Opportunities for Children

Creating Opportunities for Inquiry-based Learning

ISN utilizes regional resources such as nature, people, culture, history, climate, food, technology, and knowledge to create a learning environment that extends beyond textbooks and classrooms, in collaboration with the local community. The phrase “Provide a world of choice for all children” carries two meanings: one is related to the international “world” and the other referring to one’s own dreams or “self-world.” We want to help as many children as possible realize their dreams.

The connections and activities created by ISN bring endless possibilities for the future of children. Your support is essential for this. To provide “glocal learning” opportunities to more regions and more children, we kindly ask for your participation in supporting our mission.

How We Use Your Donations

IB Learning Scope and Sequence

At ISN, we offer a scholarship system based on the needs of families, considering their home environment and economic situation. This system will be utilized to provide continuous opportunities for even more children.

Developing Educational Methods

We utilize a portion of the donated funds for program development, be it inquiry-based learning, teacher training, or the purchase of educational materials and books, in order to establish ISN’s unique educational methods.

Facility Renovation and Maintenance

Donations are also used to improve and repair facilities, enhance equipment, and maintain playgrounds, vehicles, and other resources, ensuring that children learn in a comfortable, safe, and secure environment.

Opinions of Supporters

Since the establishment of the donation program, many people have supported ISN and shared our vision. We would like to gradually introduce the supporters and the different ways through which they got involved.

ISN. We support activities aimed at realizing children’s dreams – things they want to create, know, and experience. In Japanese Middle and High schools, dreams tend to fade over time. A child’s dreams are greatly influenced by their environment. Please create a learning environment where dreams can be nurtured and sustained.

I have great respect for the way you are demonstrating new value in Nagano prefecture despite the challenges. I believe that your presence will become even more significant as diversity continues to grow.

I hope there will be opportunities for us to connect in the future. I look forward to the mutual insights that can be gained through collaboration in classes and curriculum exchange with existing educational institutions.
