2025年3月、ISN五常小学部ではSydney Study Tourを開催しました。
こちらのツアーは、五常キャンパスの一保護者様よりいただいた「ISNで留学体験はできませんか？」の一言から始まりました。
子ども達の学びの選択肢を増やしたい。その一心で企画から催行まで至りました。
こちらのブログではISN Sydney Study Tour 2025の様子を細部までお届けいたします！

こちらがStudy Tourのリーフレットです。
ツアー出発までに、参加する子どもたち全員を対象にワークショップを複数回行いました。
このワークショップでは、持ち物や旅行スケジュールについて質問したり、旅行のルールについて考えたり、ビンゴシートに見たいものや体験したいことを記入したりします。
今回のツアーに決して欠かせないシドニー現地チームメンバーをご紹介します

Study Tours and Soccer Tours – Home – Deep Dive Cultural Experiences
Deep Diveチームは主に、小学生～成人までの短期語学ツアーやサッカーチームの交換留学体験などを提供しています。今回ISNの生徒を対象に、特別で素晴らしいツアーを提案してくれました。
なぜISNのために特別なものを用意してくれたのでしょう？それは、ISNの生徒の英語力に合わせてくれたからです！Mr.Frankはツアー後にこう語ってくれました。「ISN生徒の英語力は現地の公立校にそのまま転入しても問題ないくらいのものでびっくりした。今回は初めての試みだったので参加してくれた生徒にはむしろ物足りない英語レベルだったかもしれない。次回以降は更にレベルの高いものを準備します！」
こちらのツアーは、英語を学ぶのではありません。
「英語で現地の生活や文化を学ぶのです」
英語を学ぶを目的に提供しているツアーはたくさんありますが、インターナショナルスクール生徒向けに高い英語力を対象にするツアーはそうありません。
一般のツアーとの最大の違いはここにあります。

[ISN Sydney Study Tour 2025 Kicks Off!]
Hello everyone!
In March 2025, ISN Gojō Elementary School held a Sydney Study Tour.
This tour began with a simple question from a parent at the Gojō Campus:
“Is it possible to have a study abroad experience at ISN?”
We wanted to expand the learning opportunities available to our students. With that strong desire in mind, we planned and carried out this tour.
In this blog, we’ll share every detail of the ISN Sydney Study Tour 2025!
First, let us start by providing information about the tour.

We held several workshops for all the children participating in the tour before departure.
In these workshops, the children asked questions about what to bring and the travel schedule, discussed travel rules, and filled out bingo sheets with things they wanted to see and experiences they were looking forward to.

Study Tours and Soccer Tours – Home – Deep Dive Cultural Experiences
The Deep Dive team mainly offers short-term language tours and cultural exchange experiences, ranging from elementary school students to adults—including programs like soccer team exchanges. For this tour, they proposed a unique and exceptional program specifically for ISN students.
Why did they go the extra mile for ISN?
It’s because they tailored the program to match the English proficiency of our students!
After the tour, Mr. Frank shared his impression:
“I was honestly surprised—ISN students’ English is strong enough that they could easily transfer into a local public school here without any issues. Since this was our first time running a program like this, the English level might have actually been too easy for them. Next time, we’ll prepare something even more advanced!”
This tour wasn’t about learning English.
It was about learning through English—experiencing local life and culture in English.
There are many tours designed to help students learn English, but very few are aimed at international school students with higher proficiency levels like ours.
That’s what truly sets this program apart.
