This term, Grade 3 has been busy, creative, and full of excitement!
Our class has been working hard on preparing our Spy Family play, and this year’s version is extra special. The students decided to blend Spy Family, Blue Lock football, and a fun storyline about working in an Italian bakery. By combining everyone’s favourite ideas, the class created a unique and inclusive story that represents all students’ interests. It has been wonderful to see how well they listen to each other, share suggestions, and work together to build one big creative performance.

Students have been practising their lines, learning how to project their voices, and developing confidence on stage. They have also enjoyed choosing costumes, preparing props, and adding jokes and dramatic moments that make the play exciting and original. Their teamwork has been excellent—helping classmates, encouraging each other, and showing kindness during rehearsals.
Alongside the play, we have also been practising important skills for our UOI: “How We Express Ourselves.” Students have been exploring how stories, acting, movement, and expression help people communicate ideas and emotions. Through drama games, group activities, and reflection time, they are learning how creativity connects us and helps us understand different perspectives.
We are very proud of the enthusiasm, effort, and imagination students have shown. We can’t wait for families to enjoy this special performance soon!
