Hello, everyone!
We’ve come to the end of the unit! For our Unit 6 we will be learning a lot about animals.
Look at our classmates who shared something for show and tell!
Since last week we’ve been talking about the different characteristics of animals. We started talking about our favorite animals and labeled their body parts. Then, we researched on what they eat, how they eat, and where they live. We also looked for some animal trivia and fun facts. We will be using these information to help us classify them according to their similarities and differences.
This week has been a very busy one for us. We made our final project for our Line of Inquiry 1 by creating our very own lapbook. We cut, glued, and organized the different information about the different animal classification. Please take a look at our bulletin board and have fun reading about the different kinds of animals.
We have been doing a lot of writing about animals, trips, food, seasons, and family. We have to read it our partner after writing. Our favorite part is drawing about what we have written.
We answered animal quizzes with our team. Some were easy and others were difficult because we couldn’t identify their names. But we enjoyed looking at the pictures of the different animals.
We studied about the different classification of animals. At first, it was difficult for us to group them because there animals that were not familiar to us. Good thing that we were able to talk about animal characteristics and habitats. These information helped us in classifyinf them.
Here are some of our posters .
We tried our best in sorting the different kinds of animals.
We were able to finish all the student conferences! Thank you for coming to our school.
We brought our stuffed animals and helped each other in classfying them.
We played concentration 64 to review our knowledge on the different classes of animals.
Here’s our final project for the firrst line of inquiry. It took us three (3) days to finish!
We have a new song in class. Of course it’s all about our favorite pets! Watch us sing and dance in our room.
