G5/6 Students Gear Up for the Winter Show

ISN students have been hard at work preparing for this year’s winter show. Over the past few weeks, the classrooms have transformed into creative workshops as students designed and built their own props. Using cardboard as their main material, they painted trees, doors, and other set pieces to bring their performance world to life!

Costume design has also been in full swing. Students took charge of creating outfits for the many different roles in the play. The boys were especially proud of their impressive Demogorgon costumes, crafted with attention to detail and plenty of imagination.

This year’s production is a fun blend of Stranger Things and popular anime inspirations, making it a unique and exciting performance. With props ready and costumes nearly complete, students are now focusing on memorising their lines. They’re in the final stretch, and the excitement for show day is building quickly.

Expect plenty of fun, humour, and just the right amount of light-hearted gore as the students unleash their creativity on stage. They’ve taken inspiration from a popular TV series and mixed it with their own wild imagination, resulting in a performance that’s both quirky and delightfully unpredictable. From dramatic chases to unexpected plot twists, the show promises entertainment from start to finish.

So sit back, Netflix and chill—but this time, live and in person—as the students bring their ideas to life in this energetic short play. With their handmade props, inventive costumes, and growing confidence on stage, they’re ready to deliver a performance that will leave everyone smiling. Enjoy the show!
