In grade 1,We have been exploring the theme Who We Are, and it’s been a joyful journey of learning, sharing, and growing together. Our central idea reminds us that each of us is special, and we all connect with others in our own ways.We learned how to introduce ourselves, share our interests, and take turns when playing and working together. The students enjoyed fun activities that helped them express their uniqueness, from drawing self-portraits to talking about their families and favorite things.

Lunch time has been another special part of our day! It’s not just about yummy food – it’s also when we sit together, chat, and enjoy time with our friends.

One unforgettable experience was our Safety Class and Bus Ride! The students were thrilled to hop on the bus and learn all about travel safety. It was both fun and educational – and a big step in building their independence and awareness.

Our gym and PE lessons have been full of energy and smiles! From running games to team activities, students have been building important physical skills while also learning about cooperation, encouragement, and fair play. It’s been a fantastic way to support both healthy bodies and strong friendships.

As we continue this unit, we’re proud of how our young learners are growing – not just academically, but socially and emotionally. Grade 1 is truly a place where everyone belongs, and every day brings new reasons to smile.
