We started off the end of the school year in fine style with some school cleaning with the parents! After we had worked up a decent appetite it was time to warm up with some mochi pounding and then refuel, enjoying our delicious mochi with a variety of toppings!

Also back in class we are working hard on our penultimate unit!!!! Here we have been looking at explorers and exploration! Students have chosen to investigate The Amazon, Mt Everst and The Moon!!! Students have done a wonderful job at recreating these foreign and hostile environments and the expeditions that helped to illuminate them to the modern world in their minds using their imaginations! Next they are working on sharing their ideas with their classmates and the school. Students have elected to make models mapping these expeditions or representing the conditions these explorers found. Other students have decided to create a book, documenting travails of exploration! Can you guess who’s doing what from these works in progress?
