Dear all, it’s wonderful to be back at school and it’s wonderful to be back with the ex Grade 3 and current Grade 4! It’s our absolute joy to welcome a new friend to join us on our journey through the dizzy heights and staggering depths of grade 4! So far we are gearing up to sink our teeth into our new unit which is on the topic of energy! Please be sure to ask your child how they will be planning to investigate our central idea, what their wonder wall questions are, and what our lines of inquiry will be!

Thanks to the mostly lovely weather so far, we have managed to enjoy our first nature walk of the year!

We also found out what houses we will be playing and competing under this year! I’m a Dragon! We had our first grand house games and started awarding points! We also had a day of traffic safety education. A part of this involved a look at a city bus! Students learned how to ride a bus considerately and safely, they also got to have a taste of what it feels like in the drivers seat!

Finally we are super excited to see all our friends, family and supporters at the ISN Spring Festival this Saturday! We hope you can make it!
