Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to the start of a brand new school year! We hope you and your children are feeling excited about the journey ahead. It is a joy and a privilege to welcome you and your children to our class.
Starting school is a big milestone, and we are looking forward to creating a warm, safe, and happy environment where every child feels valued and eager to learn. This year will be filled with fun, discovery, creativity, and growth as we explore new ideas, build friendships, and develop important skills together.
In the coming weeks, we will focus on helping the children settle into routines, get to know one another, and feel comfortable in their new classroom. We encourage you to talk with your child about their day and celebrate even the smallest achievements—they all matter!
Communication between home and school is very important to us. Please feel free to reach out anytime with questions, concerns, or updates about your child. We are here to support both you and your child every step of the way.
Thank you for your trust and partnership. We are excited for a fantastic year ahead filled with learning, laughter, and special memories.
We spent our first day in class celebrating this exciting new step for our students. We talked about important classroom rules and what it means to be an Aurora student, helping everyone feel confident and ready for the year ahead.
Our second day was already full of activity as we began our regular routine with our first swimming class. The children were very excited to ride the bus to the pool! Many were proud to show how they could go under the water, and several were especially brave as they entered the big pool for the very first time. It was wonderful to see their confidence and enthusiasm shine through.
FIRST GYM DAY LESSON
We had our very first gym class of the year, and the children truly showed what it means to be Aurora students! They did a wonderful job lining up, listening carefully, and following the teacher’s instructions.
They especially enjoyed using the big hoops—jumping in and out with lots of energy and big smiles. It was lovely to see their confidence grow as they tried new movements.
Overall, it was a fantastic day spent staying active, building coordination, and having fun together. We are so proud of their positive attitudes and we look forward to many more exciting gym days ahead!

PARK DAY
We had a wonderful park day! We traveled to the park by bus, and along the way the students excitedly spotted different kinds of transportation and happily called out their names.
When we arrived, the children were amazed by the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom. We were very lucky to visit at just the right time and enjoy such a lovely sight together. The students loved collecting fallen petals and flowers, taking in the beauty of the season.
There was plenty of active fun as well! The children climbed up and down the hill, and some had a great time rolling down with lots of laughter. They also enjoyed watching the trains pass by, which added even more excitement to the day.
It was a joyful outing filled with nature, movement, and lots of smiles!

FIRST MUSIC CLASS
Our first music class was a joyful and engaging experience for everyone. We began by learning and singing a new song to welcome the spring season, which the children quickly embraced with enthusiasm.
During the lesson, the children were introduced to castanets for the first time. They were excited to explore the instrument and enjoyed creating sounds while following along with simple rhythms. We also focused on listening skills, as the children carefully paid attention to the piano to understand when to play their instruments in time with the music.
In addition, we incorporated movement activities to help the children connect with rhythm in a physical way. When the piano played fast, the children ran; when the tempo slowed down, they walked; and when the music had a swinging feel, they gently swayed their bodies.
Overall, it was a fun and interactive session that encouraged listening, coordination, and musical expression.

We appreciate your support as we begin this exciting year together. The children are off to a great start, and we can’t wait to share more of their learning and adventures with you!
Have a wonderful weekend!
