Hello Everyone,
Rainbow’s highlight for this week activities was our bus trip to the park. Everyone got excited to put on their hat and lined up to get on the bus. Upon arrival at the park, we got off the bus and walked down the pavement with a walking rope heading to the play structure. Then, we sat on the mat under a tree and had our snack before spending time in the park. Everyone was so active climbing up and playing on the slide. There was so much merry sound at the park as Rainbow students were excited exploring things that they wanted to do on their own and teachers made sure that every single student was safe. After playing at the play structure we walked to a huge grassy area to run about and play with bubbles. We enjoyed picking flowers and collecting autumn leaves. When the teachers said, Time’s up! Rainbow students ran towards the walking rope, lined up, and walked with a happy memories towards the bus parking area. Lunch time was the best part of the bus trip! Rainbow students opened their lunch box with a WOW reaction and delighted faces and while having lunch, teachers heard students said, Yummy, yummy, yummy. Thank you dear parents for preparing our little ones their yummy lunchbox.

We started our new topic for this month about VEGETABLES. The teacher introduced the names of vegetables with flashcards and we carried out a “PICK THE VEGETABLES” activity and matching game. We also sang “DO YOU LIKE (vegetable’s name)” song and learned the phrases, “YES, I DO” and “NO, I DON’T! YUCKY. Students talked about vegetables during lunch time and free play as they played kitchen toys. We also learned the phrases, Stop! I don’t like it and share please as they are useful for daily life. Students have learnt to become more expressive with words.

Rainbow students actively engaged in the Gym lesson. They listened to Ms. Airi’s instructions and followed them. They’re not only active, but they’re also communicators. Well done, Rainbow!

Next week, we will have a puppet show.
Have a fantastic long weekend everyone.
