We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
And a Happy New Year.
We will sing this song on the Christmas show as the closing song. Please click the link below and try to sing it with your children.
This week, Milky Way class discovered how Christmas is celebrated in other countries. We are very lucky to have teachers and office staff from other countries who have shared stories about Christmas in their country. We felt like going and celebrating Christmas in the Philippines, USA, and Croatia. We saw how they decorate for Christmas, what special food they eat for Christmas, and what their place looks like on Christmas. We also enjoyed making crafts such as parol or star lantern from the Philippines, Christmas cards from the USA, and heart Christmas ornaments from Croatia. Thank you so much to our guest speakers for the wonderful Christmas experience! 🎄
Because they wanted to learn more about Christmas in other countries, we did research on the countries they chose such as Italy, China, Denmark, India, Mexico, Germany, Australia, France, and Netherlands. They completed a worksheet which includes the name of the country, country flag, Christmas food, Merry Christmas in their language, Christmas traditions, and what they might see in that place during Christmas. They found the answers in this worksheet on books, printed information about Christmas and flags flashcards. Two groups already presented their work in the class to share what they learned or found out in their research. Next week other groups will present their work. 📝
The class has also started preparing for the big event in December which is the Christmas show. Milky Way class will play “The Christmas Presents” story on stage. They chose the characters they wanted to be, began memorizing their lines, songs, and dances, and how to act on stage. After each practice, we reflect on their performance and think how they can improve or make their performance better. We will practice more and try our best to have an amazing performance.👏
That’s all for this week! Thank you for reading our blog and hope you have a great weekend!🥰
