Hello everyone,

After the long holiday, the students returned with big smiles, excited to share their happy memories with their families. To reflect on those moments, we gave them a sheet of paper to draw their experiences. Many children said they enjoyed watching fireworks, while some shared that they enjoyed cutting watermelon with a big stick.

On the same day, we had a birthday party for August Birthday celebrants. This time all teachers sang the song and played instruments for the celebrators, Aurora birthday students were delighted receiving a birthday card from teachers.Happy happy birthday to our celebrators,

As we went deeper into our inquiry about animals and look back to our Central Idea “People and Animal help one another in many ways”, Mr Bobby brought his dog and talked to us how he takes care of her, and what does his dog give him in return. Mr. Bobby said, He gave her food, give him water and take a shower and brushes her fur. He also gave a toy to his dog and play with her, In return, Freya comforts Mr. Bobby when he is lonely. The students had the chance to touch the dog and they felt happy for the oppportunity.

In LOI 2 of our UNIT 1. “People and animals are connected and help each other,” we invited visitors from milk company and they share their knowledge. They explained how they take care of cows, what products come from them, foods we eat that are made from milk. After they talk, the students had the exciting opportunity to experience cow milking themselves.

Today was the last day for two of our students who will be transferring to another school. To celebrate, we sang for them and played musical chairs. The classroom was filled with excitement as everyone eagerly tried to get a seat when the music stopped. The children had so much fun and said goodbye to their two friends with smiles. We will truly miss you both. Enjoy your new journey, grow through your adventures, and always remember, WE LOVE YOU!

I also appreciate the trust you have given in allowing the class to be supported during my absence. It is a wonderful reminder of the strong community we share, working together for the happiness and growth of the children.

I am happy to be back and look forward to continuing our joyful learning journey together!
