Hello everyone!
Quite a few families had plans and travelled in advance for the Golden week holiday , so the number of students was smaller than usual this week .The students kicked off their week by learning about the “ur” sound in Bossy R words. The words introduced were fur, hurt, curl, blur, nurse, purse, turtle and turkey. They played hopscotch and had to try to read the “ur” words as they jumped in all the squares !They all had fun!

This week’s UOI lessons were mainly centered on reviewing the meaning and significance of recycling. The students basically revised what they have learned so far. They played games, did worksheets and sang songs about recycling. The RECYCLE RALLY BINGO game was a hit and most students asked to play it again sometime soon!

For this week’s reading lesson, they read, “They are on” and for the writing lesson they wrote some of the Bossy R words they learned during April’s phonics lessons.

They were lucky to go to the park twice this week. On Monday and Thursday they went to the one behind 7 eleven.

Have a lovely golden week! We hope to see your happy and healthy selves again on May 7th!

Below are the links to the song(s) they sang and danced to this week.
