みなさん、こんにちは！
9月と10月をまたいだ今週は、朝晩の涼しさにようやく秋らしさを感じる頃となりました。10月1日には新たに3人のお友達がレインボークラスに加わりました！慣れない環境と知らない人達…最初は緊張や不安でいっぱいだったに違いありません。でもレインボーの子ども達はそんな3人の新しいお友達を明るい笑顔で迎え、励まし、あれやこれやと世話を焼いたり、お手伝いをしてくれました。そしてあっと言う間に打ち解けて一緒に遊んでいました。なんて素晴らしい子ども達でしょう！総勢23名、23色に輝く虹が秋の空に架かりました！（ちょうどミルキーウェイクラスのお友達が入口の門を虹色に塗ってくれたので、ダブルレインボー？！の記念写真を撮りました🥰）
Hello everyone!
This week, spanning September and October, we’ve finally started to feel the chill in the air, signaling the arrival of autumn. On October 1st, three new friends joined the Rainbow class! A new environment and unfamiliar faces—they must have been feeling quite nervous and anxious at first. But the children in the Rainbow class welcomed their three new friends with bright smiles, encouraged them, and helped them in all sorts of ways. And before we knew it, they were all playing together happily. What wonderful children they are! With 23 children in total, it was like a rainbow of 23 colors spanning the autumn sky! (Just as the Milky Way class students were painting the entrance gate with rainbow colors, we took a commemorative photo—as double rainbow?! 🥰)
園庭での外遊びでは、好きな遊びに夢中でした。ミミズを見つけた時はじっくり観察してから触ってみる勇敢な子もいました。途中から異年齢の子ども達とも関わって遊ぶ機会がありました。お兄さん、お姉さん達にも大人気のレインボー達です。
During outdoor playtime in the playground, our children were absorbed in their favorite activities. Some of the more adventurous children even carefully observed an earthworm before gently touching it. Later, they also had opportunities to interact and play with children of different ages. Our children of Rainbow class were very popular with the older students as well!
クラスでの学びにも熱が入っています。9月までには、特にA-Gのアルフのァベットの文字や音に着目して学んできました。それらのアルファベットの書かれた魚を釣るゲームに挑戦したところ、みんな先生の指定するアルファベットの魚を釣り上げることができました。よくできました!
そして10月のトピックは「野菜」です。野菜の英語名を覚えるのと同時に”Do you like 〇〇？”/” Yes, I do” （または”No, I don’t” ） の表現を学び始めました。
Our children are really enjoying their learning in class. By September, they had focused on learning the letters and sounds of the alphabet, particularly from A to G. They played a game where they had to fish for cards with those letters on them, and everyone was able to catch the letter-matching fish that the teacher specified. Great job!
This month’s topic is “vegetables.” Along with learning the English names of various vegetables, they are starting to learn expressions like “Do you like [vegetable name]?” and “Yes, I do” (or “No, I don’t”).
