Hello Everyone,

This week Rainbow class was filled with meaningful learning activities, both within and beyond the classroom. In the classroom, we have created different spaces like play area, workstation, and circle time wall where students can explore freely by themselves. Obviously, Rainbow students’ interests are being stimulated by engaging in the activities that they are curious about. In the morning, after unpacking their stuff, they can decide what they want to do based from their own meaningful choices. It’s good to see them decide on their own which shows their learning ownership early on as they grow in Rainbow class. Well done, tiny scholars!

As we continue to explore on our topic about zoo animals, we made a painting animal craft which students decided beforehand. The teacher asked them what animal they wanted to paint prior to the craft activity and prepared the materials they needed. Hurrah! They painted a tiger, panda, zebra, lion, and a bear. Once dried, they put two eyes and presented it in front of the class by saying the name of their animal craft. Good job, Rainbow!

We had our first Bus Trip ever to Nambu Park. We were all excited to get on the bus and we sang “The Wheels On The Bus” as we were heading there. Once arrived, we got off the bus and walked to a grassy area where we had our group photo, snack under the tree, and where we played with bubbles and a ball after. While we were playing, the beautiful shiro flowers caught our eyes and a few students, especially the girls, picked them and made a bracelet. When the time was up, we left the park calmly and got on the bus back to school. At lunchtime, students were excited to open their lunchbox. Their faces were filled with smile as they saw how special it was prepared by parents for them. They were so happy and were so satisfied. Thank you parents for preparing their special lunch with so much love.
