Boo-ya!

Thank you dear students, parents, and ISN staff for making this year’s Halloween Party wonderful. We were so delighted to see the parents and other family members joined us by wearing outstanding costumes along with their children. We started our Halloween Party with the DO THE CREEPY CRAWL DANCE in line with Milky Way class as the leader. Everyone looked so cute dancing in their costumes. Then all classes played the carrying a balloon relay. Students and parents cooperated and carried the balloon by pair to the turning point and came back. Congratulations Shooting Star class for winning the second place. Then, we proceeded to the different game stations and after playing the games, students got the sticker. Oops, time’s up! We lined up in line again, sang the Goodbye Halloween song followed by a photo opportunity. Finally, students got a good treat from their teachers.

For our UOI, we played the emotion gesture game to better understand about different types of emotions and to help us advance our emotional well-being using our face and body. Students took turn to act out different emotions and guessed.

今週のUOIはジェスチャーゲームに挑戦✨感情を表すことは、顔の表情だけでなく、体を使った表現もできることを知った子ども達。一生懸命提示された感情を、顔と体で表現していました😊見て下さい、この表現力💖とっても盛り上がりました。

For our Phonics, we learned reading the -ing word family such as; wing, sing, ring, etc. Then, after the short class discussion, we worked individually with our matching type worksheet activity. Then, we used our playdough to make our own -ing word family words.

フォニックスでは、ingのワードファミリーを学びました。今まで学んできたCVCやJump Out Wordを使って、簡単なセンテンスが読めることに気づいた子ども達。最近では、本を開きながら、「あ、THEだ」などとReadingに興味を示しています💖
