Hello wonderful families and friends,
Here’s a peek into the fun we’ve been having this week. Going through our inquiry of our Unit 1 Topic about “MYSELF”, we talked about everyone as a unique individual. Students shared about what they can say about their appearance. Some kids say, “I have long hair!, I have short hair !, I have big eyes, I have small eyes etc.” After the discussion, we asked the students to draw their faces. They listened to the instructions carefully, so they clearly know what to do. Have a glimpse at their drawings.

We welcomed the new friend who joined us this week. He is an English speaking kid. He cheerfully stood in front of his friends and introduced himself. He gets along well with friends and enjoys his moments with the new environment.

Going deeper!
In our UOI lesson, we throughback our school tour last week. We asked the students who are the people around them, including the people in the school campus. They named the classes we have and they picked up the teachers’ photos, named them and sorted them to the class they belong.

Stretch, run, chase and play!
The gym was buzzing with energy as the students laughed, played with hoops, and powered through fun exercises during their lesson. They had a blast rolling, jumping in and out the hoops, and held with their both hands while walking around and pretended to be drivers.

Outdoor play
Our students are into playing “Mr. Wolf Mr. Wolf.” They burned off calories running and chasing with friends while counting numbers.

Calm down and focus!
In some busy days, after we get back to school, kids sat down and played with their play dough. The tactile nature of play dough have a soothing effect and helped children to concentrate. It enhances their fine motor skills by molding, squishing and rolling that helped strenghten the small muscles in their hands and fingers.

Exploring nature and had fun playing under the sun!
