みなさん、こんにちは！
今月のトピックは「家族」です。子ども達はみんなの前に出て、家族写真を指さしながら、家族のことを紹介してくれました。This is my mom/ This is my daddy/ This is my sister / This is me! など、どの子も自然と笑顔になり、誇らしそうです。どこで撮った写真なの？家族みんなで何をしたの？などと質問を加えると、写真の背景をじっくり見たり、思い出を手繰り寄せるように考えながら一生懸命（英語で）説明しようと頑張ってくれました。子ども達にとって家族がどんなに大切な存在なのかがよく分かる活動になりました。保護者の皆様、素敵な家族写真をご提供下さり、ありがとうございました。
Hello everyone!
This month’s topic is “Family”. Our children came up to everyone and introduced their families, pointing at family photos. They all smiled and looked proud as they said things like “This is my mom/ This is my daddy/ This is my sister/ This is me!” When we asked questions like “Where was the photo taken?” and “What did you do with your family?”, Our children looked closely at the background of the photo and tried their best to explain (in English) as they tried to recall memories. This activity really showed how important family is to the children. Thank you to all the parents for providing us with these wonderful family photos.
別の日には、クレヨンで描いた家族の絵と家族写真を照らしながら、もう一度お友だちの前で自分の家族のことを発表してもらいました。聞く側の子ども達も、興味を持って見ながら聞き入っていました。その後、ラミネート工場の工場長に扮したMS.Chifumiに自分の絵と写真を渡してラミネート加工をしてもらうと、大切な写真がより一層映えて素敵になりました。大切そうに写真を抱えている子ども達の姿がとても印象的でした。保護者の皆様が子ども達の健康や幸せを願うのと同じように、子ども達もまた家族を笑顔にしたい、いつもハッピーでいて欲しいと願っているのです。※私も工場長（笑）も手が離せず、その時の様子の写真が撮れませんでした・・ごめんなさい。
On another day, our children once again presented their families to their friends, sharing drawing of their family and a family photo. Other children listened with interest. After that, they handed their drawings and photos to Ms. Chifumi, who was pretended as the manager of a laminating factory, who laminated for them, making the precious photos look even more beautiful. It was very impressive to see the children holding the photos so dearly. Just as parents wish for the health and happiness of their children, children also want to make their families smile and be happy all the time. *We are sorry, but we couldn’t take a photo of the scene at that time.
初めて2人ずつペアになって手をつなぎ（お散歩リングなしで）お散歩に出かけました。途中で大好きな乗り物や大きな犬の糞を見つけると意識がそちらに向いてしまい、すぐに列が乱れてしまいます。「前を見て！」「足元を見て！」は好奇心旺盛な子ども達には酷な話だったかもしれません（苦笑）。 初回のこの日は事故や怪我の無いよう安全面に注意を払い、スクールから最も近い、小さな小さな公園まで行きました。 今週は少ない時間でも外に出て公園や園庭で元気に遊びました。
For the first time, our children paired up and went out for a walk, holding hands (without walking rings). Along the way, when they spotted their favorite vehicles or large dog poop, their attention was drawn to them and the line quickly became disorganized. “Look ahead!” and “Watch your step!” may have been harsh for the curious children. On the first day, we paid careful attention to safety to avoid any accidents or injuries and went to the tiny little park closest to the school. This week, even with the short amount, we went outside and played energetically in the park and playground.
