みなさん、こんにちは！
今週もレインボーさんは元気いっぱいでした。朝の会では”I am here!” と大きな声で答え、 楽しく歌ったり踊ったりする子が増えてきました。スクールが安心できる場所で、友達や先生と楽しく遊べる場所だと感じ始めてもらえているようで嬉しく思います。これからも子ども達が自分の興味や気持ちをまっすぐに表現でき、自由に振舞い、泣き笑いできる場所であるように環境や活動を用意していきたいと思います。
今月のトピックは「動物」です。前半は主に野生の動物（動物園で見られるような動物）について触れ、その名前や特徴を学んできました。後半は家畜（牧場で見られる動物）に焦点を当てて話しています。野生動物と家畜の違いについて深堀りすることはありませんが、子ども達は、牛や馬、豚や羊、犬や猫を既に身近な動物として認知しているように感じます。動物の名前を知り、形（体形）や鳴き声を既に知っているからです。アフタヌーンサークルでの動物に関する様々なアクティビティーにも興味を持って参加し、自分の出番や発表を楽しんでいます。先生の作ったヤギの人形（メ～君、オス）はウンチをします。餌を食べたら、う、うーーーん（ウンチが）コロン・・・。子ども達はその様子を見るのが大好きで笑いながら何度も繰り返します。食べて遊んでウンチをする・・自分達と一緒なのだと理解してくれたのだと思います。メ～君に食べ物を与え、優しく慈しみ、世話をしてウンチを見る様子には思わず笑みが漏れます。

Rainbows were full of energy again this week. In the morning circle, they answered loudly, “I am here!” More children are singing and dancing happily. we are glad that they are starting to feel that the school is a safe place and a place where they can have fun playing with their friends and teachers. We would like to continue to provide an environment and activities so that our children can express their interests and feelings honestly, behave freely, and laugh and cry.
This month’s topic is “Animals”. In the first half, we mainly talked about wild animals (animals you can see at the zoo) and learned their names and characteristics. In the second half, we focused on farm animals. We don’t delve into the differences between wild animals and farm animals, but it seems that our children already recognize cows, horses, pigs, sheep, dogs and cats as familiar animals. This is because they already know the names of animals and their shapes (body shapes) and sounds(voice). They are also interested in participating in various animal-related activities in the afternoon circle and enjoy their turn and presentation. The goat doll (Male, Me-kun) made by a teacher poops. After it eats, it goes, “Uh, hmmmm (poop).” Our children love watching this and repeat it over and over again while laughing. Eating, playing, and pooping… I think they understand that it is just like them. It’s hard not to smile when they feed Me-kun, love him tenderly, take care of him, and watch him poop.
レインボーさんは公園で遊ぶのも大好きです。今週はバスで庄内北公園に行きました。思い思いの遊びを楽しむ中で、てんとう虫や大きなアリの巣を見つけました。子ども達の熱い視線から逃れるように飛んで行ったてんとう虫、巣作りに一生懸命のアリの集団、小さな虫さんも一生懸命です。ママにプレゼンとする花を摘んでいる子もいました。草花を含め、生きとし生けるもの全てが大切な命。様々な生き物たちを発見し、観察（鑑賞）し、愛おしむ、優しいレインボーさん達です。
Rainbowa also loves playing in the park. This week, we went to Shonai Kita Park by bus. While playing in their own way, they found ladybugs and a large ant nest. A ladybug flew away to escape the children’s intense gaze, a group of ants worked hard to build a nest, and even small insects worked hard. a child was picking flowers to present to her mother. All living things, including flowers and plants, are precious lives. The kind Rainbows discovered, observed (appreciated), and cherished various living creatures.
ジムレッスンではボールを使った運動をしています。思い切り身体を動かすことは気分転換にもなりますね。のびのびと楽しく取り組めました。
In the gym lessons, we do exercises using a ball. Moving our body vigorously is a good way to change our mood. They were able to do it in a relaxed and fun way.
季節の変わり目、日々の寒暖差に体調を壊す子もいます。たくさん食べてたくさん遊んで、元気に過ごしましょう。よい週末を！
