Hi everyone!
Even though the weather was freezing this week, we were lucky to see some snow and enjoy it in the playground! ❄️ We also bundled up warmly and took a lovely walk to the park, where we enjoyed the fresh winter air and moving our bodies together.
In our Unit of Inquiry, we explored transportation in a fun and hands-on way. Using flashcards and toy cars, we compared which vehicles were heavy or light and fast or slow. We even added some math into our learning by practicing addition and subtraction. The children enjoyed thinking carefully about the questions and finding the correct answers together. The matching worksheet felt easy for many of us, and we finished it quickly with big smiles! We also had a great time making crafts for the UOI and a snowman.

This week in our Music Lesson, we received lots of praise from our teacher for doing a fantastic job! 🎶👏 We practiced clapping in time with the music and catching the ball at just the right moment. It was a little tricky, but that made it even more exciting and frustrating!
We laughed, tried our best, and kept practicing together. With a bit more practice, we’re sure we’ll get it just right next time. Great effort, everyone!

We loved scooping snow with shovels and buckets, watching how it piled up and changed shape. Some carefully filled their containers, while others dumped the snow out and started all over again. We also enjoyed squeezing, patting, and rolling the snow, noticing how cold it felt in our hands and how it stuck together.
There was lots of teamwork too! Friends helped each other carry scoops of snow, shared tools, and talked about what they were making. Some of us pretended they were cooking snowy “soups” and ice cream while others worked together to build small snow piles and explore footprints in the snow.

Here are the songs that we sing. Enjoy singing it with your little one!
Thank you so much for your time. See you again next week!
Have a lovely weekend!
