Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog! This week, we had another fun activity for both classes.
This week`s UOI, LOI1″Families are alike and different in many ways”, we continued our special activity: Family Presentations! Each of us had the chance to talk about our family and introduce our family members to the class confidently, using photos or even little stories. We were so proud to stand in front of their friends and say, “This is my family! This is my mommy, This is my daddy”, and more! With big smiles and bright eyes, we showed pictures of grandparents, siblings, and even our favorite place to go. The previous week, some of us were hesitant and timid to talk in front of everyone, but somehow we overcame those fears and were replaced with firm determination and confidence. Some students asked questions, and they proudly answered the questions. Some said, ” I don’t know!”

We learned letter C words and their sounds using pictures and tracing the letter C for Aurora. For Shooting Star, we started with the lowercase and reviewed the uppercase of the same letter at the same time and their sound, tracing the uppercase and lowercase of letter A.

We played a sound-and-match alphabet hunt using mixed uppercase and lowercase alphabet cards. First, we explained the rules and what to do—the fastest to touch the letter sound wins and finds the matching pair. We familiarized well the vowel letters and each sounds as well.

For Aurora, we practiced holding the scissors correctly and cutting the paper. Before beginning the activity, we discussed our agreement and rules for using scissors safely.

We played in the park. Park time is more than just fun; it’s also full of learning! Through play, we are naturally building essential life skills and sweating. And also we enjoyed playing outside in the campus playground.

We hope that you may have a good weekend. Enjoy!
