Hello everyone!
Counting days to Halloween! It is fast approaching! It’s been another busy and exciting week as we continued preparing and practicing for our Halloween Party! One of the highlights was making our spooky piñata; we had so much fun working together on it! We also made the most of the beautiful weather by spending time playing outside and at the park.

Another fun activity was playing feelings charades! We had so much fun expressing a range of emotions, from big smiles to pouty, sad faces, and even dramatic angry looks! It was such a joy to watch, and the children’s laughter and excitement as they guessed each other’s feelings filled the room like music. 💕
We also made our own feeling faces and proudly shared them with the class, explaining why we felt that way. Along with this, we worked on some fun worksheets connected to our first Line of Inquiry (LOI 1), helping us deepen our understanding while enjoying every activity!

This week, we enjoyed a special treat: a puppet show of Omusubi Kororin! Everyone was so excited as they gathered around, eyes wide with curiosity, waiting for the story to begin. As the puppets came to life, everyone watched closely, giggling and cheering for the kind old man who dropped his rice ball into a hole and discovered a magical world underground! 🕳️✨ The story taught us about kindness, honesty, and how good things come to those with a gentle heart. Everyone laughed, clapped!
After the show, we talked about our favorite parts and what we learned from the story. Some said they liked the cute mouse characters, while others loved how the old man chased the rice ball. 🍙🐭
It was truly a delightful experience filled with laughter, learning, and imagination! A perfect way to make storytelling come alive for our little ones! 💕
