Learning About Ourselves Through Experience 🌱
As part of our Unit of Inquiry, “Our experiences help us grow and learn,” students explored how their thoughts, feelings, and actions help shape who they are.
Working together as a team, the children took part in a meaningful and creative activity—body tracing. Each child traced their body and reflected on different parts to show what they have learned about themselves.
- In the head, students wrote or shared things they have learned or are learning such as recyling, UOI, talking, Math, etc.
- In the chest, they expressed things that make them happy and bring them joy.
- In the arms and legs, theywrote what their bodies can do—running, walking, wall climbing, etc.
This activity encouraged students to think deeply about themselves and recognize that learning is not only about academics, but also about emotions, experiences, and physical growth.
At the end of the week, the students proudly presented their work to the class. During the presentation, they shared their ideas, practiced speaking with confidence, and listened respectfully to their classmates. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to reflect on their learning and celebrate their growth.
Through this experience, students learned that every experience—big or small—helps them grow, learn, and understand themselves better. 🌟

Alongside this, students also strengthened their Math skills by working on number activities. They practiced filling in missing numbers from 1–30 and explored tens and ones, helping them build a stronger understanding of number order and place value.

We had a birthday party on Friday. Happy Birthday, friends!
